02. Challenge

"Harmonizing Divergent Visions"

The project began with a complex challenge: three co-founders with different creative visions. My role was to act as a visual mediator, identifying the common ground among their ideas to build a singular, cohesive brand voice.

Additionally, the brand aimed to target the mid-to-high-end market. The core challenge was to create a "Premium yet Reasonable" image that maintains an aura of luxury without feeling intimidating or unattainable.

03. Strategy & Concept

"Approachable Luxury & Premium"

To satisfy all stakeholders and the target market, I established a design strategy focused on 'Sophisticated Simplicity.'

 

  • Keywords: Premium, Reasonable, Approachable, Balanced

  • Design Philosophy: We stripped away the excessive ornamentation often found in traditional luxury, focusing instead on high-quality materials and refined typography to communicate value.

04. Visual Solution

  • Logo System: A minimalist and structured logo that conveys a solid, premium foundation. The clean lines represent the 'Reasonable' price point, while the refined proportions maintain a 'Luxury' feel.

  • Typography & Color: A combination of a classic Serif font (representing tradition/premium) and a modern Sans-serif (representing approachability). 
    I selected a palette that evokes a "Warm Modernity"—using Olive Green and [Color 2] to ensure the brand feels inviting rather than cold and distant.

05. Impact & Results

"A Unified Brand Launch" 

  • Successful Consensus: By presenting data-driven design variations and mood boards, I successfully led the three founders to a unanimous decision on the brand’s direction.

  • Market Positioning: Created a solid visual identity that successfully positioned O’sric as a premium brand that customers feel comfortable engaging with.

06. Project Reflection

"From Passenger to Pilot" 

  • The Shift: Moved from simply accommodating diverse opinions to leading with professional expertise.

  • The Strategy: Streamlined decision-making by presenting decisive, curated options instead of open-ended choices.

  • The Result: Achieved a more cohesive brand identity and higher founder satisfaction through firm creative leadership.

"Cracking 'Approachable Luxury'" 

  • The Challenge: Balancing high-end premium aesthetics with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

  • The Solution: Identified a "Warm Modern" palette that resonated with both stakeholders and the target audience.

  • The Vision: Realized that brand identity is an evolving asset; it requires continuous development to stay aligned with market trends.
